My Thoughts

"Integrative medicine is an approach to care that puts the patient at the center and addresses the full range of physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual and environmental influences that affect a person’s health."

Hi, I’m Jisu

A senior at USC studying Health and Human Sciences and minoring in

Justice, Voice, and Advocacy.

My passions include health, wellness, and inspiring people to live a purposeful and gratifying life.  I hope to attend medical school and eventually become a pediatric or primary care physician! Recently, I discovered the benefits and practices of Integrative Medicine, and it changed my entire perspective on health. Unlike conventional medicine which is disease-focused, Integrative Medicine is healing-oriented and emphasizes the combination of Mind, Body, & Spirit to achieve optimal wellbeing. I believe in transforming the current healthcare system from its symptom-focused, find-it-and-fix-it mentality to prevention-oriented and patient-centered care. Most of all, I want to empower individuals to take back control of their well-being and live to their fullest potential.

Here's to covering everything and anything that encompasses the Mind, Body & Spirit!

Health is the "state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity".
